Pearblossom Man Shane Ramirez Fatally Struck in SR 138 Crash in Palmdale
Palmdale, CA (June 08, 2021) – On Monday, Shane Ramirez, 34, died in a State Route 138 accident, wherein 22-year-old Jerry Tate of Palmdale was involved.
The pedestrian crash happened at 9:35 p.m. west of 121st Street East.
Apparently, the pedestrian was crossing the highway amid poor lighting conditions when a 2008 Saturn Aura driven by Tate struck him.
The officers pronounced the pedestrian from the Antelope Valley community of Pearblossom dead.
Tate stayed at the scene and was not arrested.
Later reports stated that the victim of the accident was Shane Ramirez, of Pearblossom.
The authorities are investigating the incident.
