51-Year-Old Victorville Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle near Dry Creek Road

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (October 5, 2018) – A man was killed Friday evening following an accident near Dry Creek Road. The deceased victim was later identified as 51-year-old Shan Dee Quick, a resident of Victorville.
 
As per reports, the incident took place at about 10:30 PM in the 13000 block of Amethyst Road. The rider of a 1985 Honda VF1100C Magna V65 was pushing his disabled motorcycle in the number one lane when he was struck by a northbound 2003 Toyota Avalon.
 
Quick suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota remained at the crash site and cooperated with investigators. No charges have been filed at this time.
 
Alcohol and drugs were ruled out as possible contributing factors in the fatal crash, which remains under investigation. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Dispatch Office by calling (760) 241-2911. No further details have been provided to the public.
