23-Year-Old Kingston Woman Injured in Crash on 305 Freeway Near Agate Pass Bridge
SUQUAMISH, WA (February 3, 2018) – A Kingston woman was struck and injured by a car on Highway 305 near Agate Pass Bridge on Saturday evening around 11:25 PM.
The Washington State Patrol reported that 23-year-old Shaina Stewart was crossing the north shoulder of highway 305 to the south, when she was hit by a black 2015 Honda Accord in the southbound lane. The victim was not walking in a crosswalk or intersection at the time of the crash.
Stewart was injured and transported by ambulance to the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for medical treatment. There is no update on her condition at this time. The driver, 52-year-old Bainbridge man, was not injured in the accident.
The vehicle was damaged and towed from the scene. No charges have been made on the driver as officials continue their investigation on the crash.
