CITY HEIGHTS, CA (June 30, 2021) – Monday night, several people sustained injuries in a suspected DUI crash on Interstate 15 near University Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. It occurred on Interstate 15 near University Avenue in City Heights.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound Ford Fusion traveled in the southbound lanes. Then, it collided with another vehicle near University Avenue.
 
Furthermore, officials confirmed that up to five vehicles were involved in the incident.
 
Moreover, responders transported the driver of a Toyota Corolla to a nearby hospital with major injuries.
 
Meanwhile, CHP detained a man in suspicion of driving under the influence at the time of the incident.
