Several People Hurt in Violent Crash on 256th Street [Kent, WA]

Kent, WA (June 19, 2024) On Monday evening, multiple people were hurt after a violent crash on 256th Street.

According to Kent police, the major injury collision happened at the intersection of SE 256th Street and 116th Avenue SE around 9 p.m.

Reports say that a 16-year-old boy and another teen stole a blue PT Cruiser and was involved in a crash at the intersection.

Officials say that the stolen vehicle was found overturned after it collided with an Audi Q5 and Toyota Corolla. Both Audi and Toyota sustained significant damages.

Authorities say that occupants of the Audi suffered minor injuries, while, the 47-year-old driver of the Toyota suffered several broken bones and his 18-year-old passenger was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Meanwhile, both the 16-year-old suspect and his passenger were taken to the hospital and officials say that both suspects will face charges of vehicular assault and theft of a motor vehicle.
