Othello, WA (September 10, 2022) – On Thursday, several people sustained injuries following a Sutton Road rollover crash.

It was in the afternoon when the solo vehicle collision happened in the 1800 block area.

According to the authorities, a 14-year-old boy was driving a Chevy Tahoe on a joyride together his with friends and another 14-year-old.

However, the teen driver lost control of the vehicle because it was over-speeding.

The 14-year-old passenger was not wearing a seatbelt during the accident and was thrown from the vehicle.

Luckily, none of the occupants sustained life-threatening injuries.

Officers say the vehicle belonged to the teen driver’s parents. The authorities are still investigating if drugs or alcohol were involved in the Othello SUV crash.

There are plenty of ways to practice safe and defensive driving. One of those is to keep the recommended driving speed.
