Injuries Sustained in Sanger Multi-Vehicle Accident
SANGER, CA (March 11, 2019) – Several people sustained injuries in a DUI hit-and-run accident on Highway 180 near Academy Avenue on March 9.
According to reports, a 22-year-old man was traveling westbound on the highway at about 8:30 p.m. Soon after, he drove across the center divider into the eastbound lanes, hitting three other vehicles. The driver then fled the scene.
Police located the suspect a mile and a half away, arresting him for felony DUI hit-and-run.
In addition, the authorities added that his vehicle is registered out of Firebaugh. CHP said that several people inside the involved vehicles sustained injuries.
