58-Year-Old Serjio Medina Leon Killed in Buttonwillow Avenue Collision [Fresno County, CA]

Fresno County, CA (March 26, 2024) – 58-year-old Serjio Medina Leon and 40-year-old Maria Ayers were killed following a Buttonwillow Avenue collision afternoon.

The fatal collision happened past 3:30 on Parlier Avenue.

Investigators said an eastbound Ford Focus driven by Ayers failed to stop at the intersection’s stop sign. The vehicle’s passenger side then collided with a northbound Ford F-150 pickup truck pulling a trailer.

Responding officers declared Medina Leon dead at the scene while Ayers was killed on the way to the hospital.

The pickup truck driver was not injured in the collision.
