Stone County, MO (August 24, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, a serious injury crash on Mo-160 left several people with serious injuries.

According to the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District (SSCFPD) rescue crews, the horrific crash happened at about 5:15 p.m. on Highway 160.

Reports say that medics arrived at the scene and immediately assisted occupant of a vehicle who sustained serious injuries, officials say that a patient was airlifted to a Springfield hospital.

Authorities are investigating the injury crash and have not released additional information at this time.
