Sergio Montes Killed in Richmond Car Accident on San Bruno Avenue
RICHMOND, CA (June 23, 2020) – Early Thursday morning, a pedestrian accident on San Bruno Avenue killed Sergio Montes.
According to police reports, the crash occurred just after 7:00 a.m. near San Bruno Avenue and Dwight Street.
The city medical examiner’s office identified the deceased victim of the crash in San Francisco’s Portola neighborhood as 63-year-old Richmond resident Sergio Montes.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they found Montes on the roadway. Then, the responders took him to a hospital. Unfortunately, Montes died shortly after due to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver who hit Montes remained at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation. Furthermore, the investigators do not suspect impairment as a factor in the crash.
