Four Vehicles Involved in Collision near De Soto Avenue
WOODLAND HILLS, CA (March 6, 2019) – Lanes were closed after a semi-truck crash on westbound Highway 101, Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 5:48 AM. It happened just east of De Soto Avenue. Based on an initial report, the jackknifed big rig collided into the center divider. A pickup truck, a Toyota Corolla and a Nissan Frontier were also involved in the incident.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injuries sustained.
All lanes were temporarily blocked due to the commotion. Towing services were requested for a clearing operation in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident. Additional information has yet to be released.
