6-Year-Old Boy Dies, Dylan Conelly Injured in HWY 198 Collision
Visalia, CA (April 01, 2022) – On Friday, 6-year-old boy lost his life while 24-year-old Selena Ramos and 22-year-old Dylan Conelly sustained injuries in a Highway 198 collision.
The fatal incident took place minutes after midnight east of Eggers Drive.
Officers said that Conelly, the driver, allowed the vehicle to drift and leave the roadway while westbound in Three Rivers. The vehicle struck a roadway sign and a tree before falling down on a ditch.
As a result, Conelly sustained minor injuries while Ramos, Conelly’s passenger was moderately injured.
Reports say that Conelly’s unnamed 3-year-old girl passenger also incurred minor injuries.
Moreover, the paramedics airlifted Conelly’s 6-year-old boy passenger to Kaweah Delta Medical Center. Unfortunately, the boy later succumbed to his injuries.
The authorities are investigating this fatal collision.
