Sedan Driver Airlifted in Sheep Creek Road Collision [Phelan, CA]

CHP Investigates Smoke Tree Road Traffic Accident

Phelan, CA (December 3, 2022) – On Friday morning, a sedan driver sustained injuries in a Sheep Creek Road collision.

The San Bernardino County Fire responded to the crash scene at about 6:48 a.m. at the intersection with Smoke Tree Road.

When they arrived, responders located a white sedan with major driver-side damage and a Prius with minor front-end damage about 20 feet from the roadway.

Immediately, the rescuers extricated the man driving the white sedan with serious injuries. A Mercy Air helicopter landed at a nearby Stator Bros shopping center and flew the man to Antelope Valley Hospital.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the Smoke Tree Road traffic accident.
