Sebastopol Road Accident Critically Injures Pedestrian [Santa Rosa, CA]

Santa Rosa, CA (December 28, 2023) – A pedestrian was critically injured following a Sebastopol Road accident on Tuesday night.

It was about 11:10 p.m. when the authorities responded to the collision on Dutton Avenue wherein a pedestrian and a BMW were involved.

Responding officers located the pedestrian on the northbound lane of Dutton Avenue and a silver BMW sedan with major front-end damage was on the side of the road. 

The BMW driver stayed at the scene while the pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital with critical injuries.

Meanwhile, troopers said there was no sign that the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the accident.

The speed of the car was also not a factor and the BMW appeared to have the right of way with a green light.

Officers are investigating if the pedestrian was in the crosswalk when the traffic crash happened.
