Seann Flynn Identified as Motorcyclist Killed in Malibu Collision
MALIBU, CA (December 22, 2018) — A 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed after his bike collided with a garbage truck on Pacific Coast Highway at Rambla Vista in Malibu Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at about 6:55 a.m. 29-year-old Seann Patrick Flynn of Los Angeles was attempting to pass a slow-moving garbage truck on the right side. When the truck turned onto Rambla Vista, Flynn crashed into the truck. He was ejected from his motorcycle and was run over by the back wheels of the bike.
Flynn was transported to a hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries.
It was reported that Flynn worked for Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc. in Malibu.
Some lanes of Pacific Coast Highway were closed due to the collision, and the eastbound traffic was restricted to one lane for several hours.
The crash remains under investigation.
