Sean Mata Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Auto Mall Drive [MORENO VALLEY, CA]

Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Auto Mall and Moreno Beach Drives

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (September 28, 2019) – A motorcyclist died in a collision with a car Saturday evening in Moreno Valley.
 
The collision happened around 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of Auto Mall Drive and Moreno Beach Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and a vehicle collided for unknown reasons. As a result, the rider sustained major injuries and died at the scene.
 
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department identified the victim as Sean Mata, 22, of Moreno Valley.
 
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and stayed on scene for the investigation.
 
Officials closed the Moreno Beach Drive between Auto Mall Drive and Cottonwood Avenue while they investigated the crash.
