Sean Guy Morris of Gardendale Killed in 4-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 20 [Crane County, TX]

Crane County, TX (August 1, 2024) – 49-year-old Sean Guy Morris of Gardendale was killed in a vehicle carsh on Interstate 20 Tuesday morning.

It was about 9 a.m. on July 30 when the four-vehicle crash happened on the westbound highway at mile marker 90.

DPS troopers said Morris was driving a 2019 Toyota Tundra and was waiting at a standstill behind a Kenworth Truck with trailer driven by 52-year-old Armando Valencia.

A westbound 2024 Ram 2500 driven by 32-year-old Colton Gerrel rear-ended Morris.

The impact of the collision made Morris’ car to rear-end Valencia’s Kenworth truck.

Gerrel continued into the outside lane and struck a 2019 Ford F-150 driven by 24-year-old Brian Ramos-Portillo.

Unfortunately, Morris was killed at the crash scene. 

The medical team rushed Gerrel to Odessa’s Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries. 

Meanwhile, Valencia and Ramos-Portillo were not hurt in the collision .

The authorities are investigating this fatal collision.
