Scott Glen Fatally Injured in Benicia Motorcycle Crash
BENICIA, CA (March 20, 2019) – A motorcycle rider died in a crash on Freeway 780 in Benicia Monday at around 1:25 p.m. The Solano County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 31-year-old Scott Glen of Vallejo.
California Highway Patrol Officer David Harvey said Glen was driving a Honda sport motorcycle from northbound Highway 680 onto westbound Freeway 780 when he crashed into the center median guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:36 p.m.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Initial reports confirmed that Glen was driving recklessly before the crash occurred.
