SAN DIEGO, CA (October 5, 2020) – Saturday afternoon, a female scooter rider suffered injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Ingraham Street.
 
The incident happened at about 1:00 p.m., south on Ingraham Street. According to reports, the 36-year-old scooter rider took the Sunset Cliffs offramp.
 
“A car tried to pass her on the left and collided with her, causing her to lose control,” Officer Robert Heims revealed. “She was ejected from the scooter.”
 
As a result, the woman sustained a pelvic fracture, a broken tooth, and multiple abrasions.
 
Afterward, responders took her to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
 
As of this time, no witnesses have provided their statements. Meanwhile, the investigators revealed that the suspect vehicle was a maroon sedan.
