Bus Carrying Elementary Students Crashes into Sedan near Fig Garden Village Shopping Center
FRESNO, CA (September 10, 2018) – On Monday afternoon, a Fresno Unified school bus was involved in a two-vehicle collision on West Shaw Avenue.
As per reports, the incident took place at about 3:45 PM near the Fig Garden Village Shopping Center. The bus was transporting elementary students from Manchester Gate to their local neighborhood schools when it collided with a Chevy sedan.
Fresno Unified officials said that the students aboard were not injured from the crash. Their parents were notified of the accident, and some of them arrived at the scene to pick up their children. Meanwhile, the remaining students were fetched by a replacement bus.
