Savannah Correa Dead in Merced Solo-Vehicle Accident on Bear Creek Drive
MERCED, CA (December 6, 2020) – Early in December, 19-year-old Savannah Correa died in a suspected DUI crash on Bear Creek Drive and Parsons Avenue.
According to the Merced Police Department, the incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. It occurred on East South Bear Creek Drive and Parsons Avenue.
Reports revealed that a vehicle carrying two men and two women crashed into Bear Creek Drive.
The driver died in the Merced crash. Responders transported the three passengers to a hospital. The three were expected to make full recoveries.
Merced authorities believe that alcohol played a role in the Parsons Avenue crash.
The fatal accident remains under investigation.
