SONORA, CA (October 23, 2022) – Early Friday morning, authorities arrested Savannah Chroman Arrested in DUI Crash on Tuolumne Road near Soulsbyville Road [Sonora, CA]following a DUI crash on Tuolumne Road near Soulsbyville Road.
 
The incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. on Tuolumne Road west of Soulsbyville Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2007 Toyota Camry veered into the oncoming traffic lane into the path of a 2022 Dodge Ram pickup. Then, the dodge driver, 40-year-old Jose Guzman, managed to notice in time the swerving Toyota. Thus, he slowed the vehicle to nearly a stop before the collision.
 
Moreover, responding firefighters extricated the trapped Toyota driver, 22-year-old Savannah Chroman, who exhibited signs of being under the influence of alcohol.
