Saundra Bridgeford Lewis Dies in Hit-And-Run Crash on Broadway Boulevard in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (August 7, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, 73-year-old Saundra Bridgeford Lewis died in a crash on Broadway Boulevard.

The fatal crash in Tucson happened at around 2:40 a.m. on August 6.

TPD responded to the scene located north of Broadway Boulevard and East Country Road.

Moreover, TPD said Lewis died when they arrived.

Reportedly, Lewis was walking in the middle of the roadway when she was hit by the suspect’s vehicle.

Police are currently searching for the vehicle that hit Lewis, described as a small white pickup truck.
