I-45 Deadly Collision Injures 2 Girls
Centerville, TX (July 21, 2023) – At about 7:54 a.m. on Wednesday, 39-year-old Sarah Maake of Humble was killed and two girls, ages 8 and 12 were injured in an Interstate 45 rollover collision.
Sgt. Ruiz said a 2001 Ford Excursion driven by Maake was northbound on the freeway when a rear tire blew out. The vehicle went off the roadway and rolled over killing Maake at the scene.
The two young girls who were also riding in the Ford were airlifted to McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple with serious injuries.
In the meantime, the authorities are still investigating the cause of the I-45 deadly collision.
