Santa Cruz, CA (July 16, 2020) – Thursday morning, 73-year-old Sara Youhas died in a hit-and-run crash on Bear Creek Road.
 
The crash happened at 9:44 a.m. on July 16. CHP responded to Bear Creek Road east of View Drive and found Youhas down on the scene.
 
Investigators reports say Youhas had been struck by a vehicle while walking on the road and knocked down the embankment. Moreover, Youhas was previously reported missing on July 14.
