Santiago Hernandez Struck and Killed in Woodcrest Pedestrian Crash
WOODCREST, CA (November 3, 2020) -On Monday, Santiago Hernandez, 61, died in an accident on Mockingbird Canyon Road.
The fatal Woodcrest accident occurred around 6:25 a.m. on Mockingbird Canyon Road and Rancho Sonado Road.
According to reports, a vehicle struck the pedestrian, Mr. Hernandez, while he crossed the intersection.
Afterward, the uninjured motorist immediately stopped and reported to 911.
When the Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived, they declared the pedestrian hit by the car dead at the scene.
The circumstances that have led to the crash remains unknown. Once additional details become available, the public will be duly informed.
At a later time, the authorities disclosed the identity of the deceased as Santiago Hernandez, of Riverside.
The CHP officers and the sheriff’s deputies are working together to investigate the deadly crash.
