Two Killed and Two Injured in Accident on Sonoma Boulevard and Solano Avenue
VALLEJO, CA (March 1, 2018) – A fatal solo-car accident occurred on the intersection of Sonoma Boulevard and Solano Avenue on Thursday morning.
According to reports, the crash happened around 1:55 AM. A 2001 Honda Civic entered the intersection westbound on Solano at high speeds, before slamming into a light pole head-on, killing the driver and one passenger.
The Solano County coroner’s office identified the two women as 26-year-old Santaleighsa Gonzalez and 24-year-old Priscilla Rosario. They were both pronounced dead on the scene. A 20-year-old Vallejo man and 23-year-old Vallejo woman were sitting in the back of the vehicle at the time of the crash and were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Lt. Michael Nichelini reported that all four occupants in the Honda were drinking alcohol at several local bars right before getting into car. No other information has been released at this time.
