Speeding Pickup Truck Runs Through Red Light and Hits SUV in Santa Rosa
SANTA ROSA, CA (December 14, 2018) – Injuries were reported following a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Santa Rosa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 7:50 a.m. on Ursuline Road, just in front of Cardinal Newman High School.
CHP officials said, the driver of a white Toyota pickup truck was recklessly driving, ran through a red light and hit a white Mercedes-Benz SUV. Debris from crash was blocking the entire intersection.
Injuries were sustained in the accident and an ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene to give aid. The severity and exact number of patients were not immediately known.
The SUV also sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed away from the crash site.
No additional information was provided at this time. The full circumstances of the collision are under investigation.
