Afterrnoon 3-Vehicle Collision on 5 Freeway in Santa Fe Springs, Complaint of Pain Reported
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (May 8, 2019) – One person was hurt following a three-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Santa Fe Springs.
The crash happened around 1:04 p.m. on southbound 5 Freeway near 605 Freeway.
According the California Highway Patrol, a white Toyota Prius, a Honda CRV and red Chevrolet pickup truck collided for unknown reasons.
Fire crews responded to the scene and confirmed one occupant who was hurt from the crash. Paramedics took the patient to hospital with a complaint of pain to the chest.
All lanes were blocked during the rescue and clearing operations.
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
