Motorcycle and Sedan Collide at Shoemaker and Beaty Avenues
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (December 4, 2018) – A motorcyclist was down on the roadway following a collision with a sedan Tuesday evening in Santa Fe Springs.
The collision happened around 7:17 p.m. at the intersection of Shoemaker Avenue and Beaty Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and a black Kia Optima collided, sending the rider down on the ground.
Whittier Police Department responded to handle the rescue operation. The extent of injuries sustained was not immediately available.
The Kia sustained a right side damage and was towed away along with the motorcycle.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
