Afternoon 2-Vehicle Collision in Santa Ana Hurts 5 People
SANTA ANA, CA (March 23, 2019) – Five people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon in Santa Ana, CHP officials said.
The collision happened around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Bristol Street and Hesperian Street.
The Orange County firefighters responded to the scene and found three occupants trapped inside one of the vehicles.
A total of five people in the first vehicle were taken to local hospitals, two of them sustained serious injuries.
The single occupant of the second vehicle was not hospitalized.
Details are sparse on who was involved and what exactly transpired to cause the collision.
The California Highway Patrol is overseeing the investigation to determine the factors involved and liability.
