Pickup Truck and Sedan Involved in Afternoon Crash in San Juan Bautista, Complaint of Pain Reported
SAN JUAN BAUTISTA, CA (January 27, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in San Juan Bautista.
The crash happened around 3:11 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 156 and Highway 101.
According to the CHP, a gray Ford Fusion and a black GMC Sierra collided for unknown reasons. The Ford sedan sustained major front-end damage with broken front tires, while the GMC pickup truck had a broken front suspension as a result of the crash.
One occupant complained of pain and was taken by paramedics to Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital.
Both damaged vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
An investigation is still ongoing to determine who was at fault and to gather all the factors involved in the accident.
