San Jose Man Dies in Solo-Vehicle Crash on Highway 9 [Saratoga, CA]

Saratoga, CA (November 17, 2021) – On Saturday, a  21-year-old man from San Jose suffered fatal injuries in a solo-vehicle crash on Highway 9.

Officers received the crash report at about 10:40 p.m. south of Booker Creek Road.

Investigators said a 20-year-old San Jose man was driving a 2003 Lexus at an unsafe speed. Officers said the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree before resting on its side roughly 30 feet down an embankment.

Unfortunately, the male passenger lost his life at the scene.

Moreover, the authorities do not consider alcohol as a factor in this crash.
