Man Dies in San Jose Pedestrian Collision
SAN JOSE, CA (December 27, 2018) – A 60-year-old man lost his life Saturday night after being hit by a motorist at South White Road and Aldo Court.
The incident happened around 8:16 p.m. when a 19-year-old woman operating a 2015 Toyota Corolla northbound on South White Road struck the victim. The unidentified victim was walking across South White Road outside of a marked crosswalk at the time.
He was immediately brought to a nearby hospital where he died. The driver involved stayed at the scene and was questioned by officers who later determined that drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the crash.
The identity of the victim will be released once the next of kin has been notified.
