Evening Two-Car Crash on 280 Freeway in San Jose Sends 1 to Hospital
SAN JOSE, CA (May 3, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-car crash Friday evening in San Jose, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 7:31 p.m. on northbound 280 Freeway, just South of Highway 17.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Honda Civic collided with another car, blocking both lanes of the connector ramp.
Officers arrived and located the Honda with moderate front-end damage. One occupant was bleeding from the nose after being hit in the head.
Paramedics took one patient to Valley Medical Center with facial injuries and a complaint of pain to the lower back.
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
