SAN JOSE, CA – Motorcyclist Killed after Crashing into Parked Box Truck on Silver Leaf Road

Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Silver Leaf Road in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (January 12, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed after crashing into a parked box truck Saturday evening in San Jose, authorities said.
 
The crash was reported at 8:40 p.m. in the 5800 block of Silver Leaf Road.
 
According to police, a 2000 Harley Davidson was traveling northound on Silver Leaf Road when it lost control and collided with the parked box truck. The man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The name, age and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. Investigation of this incident is still ongoing.
