Several Vehicles Involved in Deadly DUI Crash on Highway 101 in San Jose
SAN JOSE, CA (December 15, 2018) – One person was killed and another one was arrested following a DUI crash late Saturday evening in San Jose.
The fatal crash happened around 10:43 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 at Trimble Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, several vehicles, including a white Honda sedan and black Ford Mustang, were involved. One occupant was ejected from a vehicle and was declared dead.
Another patient was taken to a hospital with complaints of pain.
One of the drivers was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
All northbound lanes of Highway 101 were briefly closed, with the entire route re-opened by 12:39 a.m. Sunday, according to CHP.
No identifying information is being released at this time. This incident is still under investigation.
