Minivan and Sedan Involved in Evening Collision on Highway 101 in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 6, 2019) – At least one person was injured following a two-vehicle collision Wednesday evening in San Francisco.
The collision happened a little before 9:00 p.m. on southbound Highway 101, just North of 80 Freeway.
CHP officials said a white Toyota Sienna minivan and a silver Mitsubishi two-door sedan collided on the right shoulder of the intersection, blocking the on-ramp.
At least one of the parties involved was injured with complaints of pain, and emergency crews were dispatched to give aid.
The impact also caused front-end damage on the sedan, and the car was towed away from the crash site.
Details surrounding the collision were not made clear in the reports. Authorities are looking further into the incident to determine the factors involved and liability.
