Early Morning 2-Car Wreck on Highway 101 in San Francisco Hurts One
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 12, 2018) – One person was hospitalized following a two-car crash early Wednesday morning on Highway 101 in San Francisco.
The crash happened around 4:53 a.m. on the northbound direction of the highway, just South of Candlestick Park.
According to the CHP, a black Toyota Prius and a black Honda Fit collided for unknown reasons. One car overturned down an embankment, while the other was facing the wrong way on the right shoulder with flashers on.
Paramedics arrived and transported one patient to San Francisco General Hospital with a complaint of pain to the back.
Both cars were towed away from the wreckage.
The full circumstances of the collision are under investigation.
