35-year-old Man Arrested for Hit-and-Run in Broadway and Stockton Street Intersection
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 16, 2018) – Several road closures followed a deadly hit-and-run collision in Chinatown, early Friday morning.
Police say that the incident happened around 5:00 AM at the Broadway and Stockton intersection. They arrived at the scene of the accident, to find a 64-year-old woman in the street, suffering from critical injuries. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries and was later pronounced dead.
According to the evidence gathered from preliminary investigation, the victim had been hit by a car that fled from the scene. The suspect, a 35-year-old man, was eventually found and arrested.
