Rider Dies in Evening Freeway Crash in San Dimas
SAN DIMAS, CA (December 19, 2018) – A motorcyclist was killed following a traffic collision Wednesday evening in San Dimas.
The collision happened around 9:15 p.m. on 10 Freeway at Kellogg Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle, a Chevrolet HHR and another vehicle were involved for unknown reasons. The motorcycle then struck the center divider, sending the rider down in lanes.
Responding fire crews pronounced the rider dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office was notified to pick up the victim’s remains and conduct a full report.
The Chevrolet sustained moderate right side damage and was towed away for evidence.
Fire crews blocked the fourth and fifth lanes of the freeway for the on-scene investigation.
