Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Highway 75 in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 8, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed following a suspected hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning in San Diego.
The fatal incident was reported at 12:52 a.m. along the westbound lanes of Highway 75 at midspan.
According to an initial report by the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking in the westbound lanes when it was struck by an unknown vehicle.
When officers arrived on the scene, the unidentified victim was found lying on the roadway with fatal injuries. There were no vehicles recovered in the area.
At this time, investigators are still working on determining the precise cause of the fatal incident.
