Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 330 in San Bernardino Mountains
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (January 17, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a hit-and-run crash Thursday night in the San Bernardino mountains.
The fatal crash happened around 6:38 p.m. on Highway 330 near the lower passing lane, a few miles North of Highland.
Details are sparse on who was involved and what exactly transpired to cause the collision, but the incident was reported to be a hit-and-run. Several vehicles pulled over in the area.
Law enforcement along with paramedics responded to the scene and found at least one fatality as a result of the incident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
A SigAlert was issued for the lower passing lane while the investigation was being conducted.
