Samuel Stroggins Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision in Interstate 35 [DeSoto, TX]

DeSoto, TX (July 14, 2023) -On Tuesday, Samuel Stroggins, 22, was found dead following a collision in Interstate 35.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 4 a.m. in the 2100 block area wherein the victim was declared dead.

Investigating officers believe Stroggins was walking near the southbound lanes of the freeway when he was hit by a dark-colored 2007-2009 Lexus ES 350.

The suspect vehicle could have damage to the front passenger-side bumper, headlight, hood, or windshield.

While the driver of the Lexus left the area and did not contact authorities.
