Samuel Hammond Hospitalized, Tessana Burkett Suspect in State Highway 503 DUI Crash

 
Woodland, WA (March 23, 2021) – On Sunday, 46-year-old Samuel Hammond of Vancouver was injured, and 26-year-old Tessana Burkett of Woodland was a suspect in a DUI crash on State Highway 503.
 
The accident took place at around 2 p.m. east of Woodland.
 
Burkett was driving north on the highway when she crossed the center line and crashed with a vehicle driven by Hammond.
 
Hammond drifted off the road to the left, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side and start a fire.
 
Right away, rescuers took Hammond and his passenger, 42-year-old Angela Lingo-Davis of Washougal to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center due to unknown injuries.
 
Moreover, on Monday, the hospital listed Lingo-Davis in serious condition while Hammond was in satisfactory condition.
 
Also, responders took Burkett to PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview due to injuries.
 
Officers said she was treated and released.
 
Meanwhile, authorities consider drugs or alcohol to be a factor in the accident. Troopers said charges against Burkett are pending.
