Phoenix, AZ (March 3, 2024) – On Sunday morning, 27-year-old Samantha Stanley died, and 2 others sustained injuries in a crash on 7th Avenue and Baseline Road.

Reportedly, a two-car crash in south Phoenix on Sunday morning resulted in one woman’s death and injuries to two others. 

Phoenix police responded to the collision near 7th Avenue and Baseline Road at around 10:45 a.m., where they discovered multiple injured individuals inside the two vehicles. 

Three people were transported to the hospital, where 27-year-old Samantha Stanley, a passenger from one of the involved cars, was pronounced dead. 

The Phoenix Fire Department treated the driver of the other car at the scene.

Detectives have determined that the crash occurred when one vehicle, traveling west on Baseline Road and turning south onto a private drive, was struck by another vehicle coming from the east. 

The investigation to identify the party at fault in the collision is ongoing.

Following the crash, the area around 7th Avenue and Baseline Road was closed for several hours for investigation but has since been reopened.
