20-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck by Two Vehicles near Marshall Road
VACAVILLE, CA (June 16, 2018) – A woman was killed late Saturday evening after she was struck by two vehicles while crossing the street. 20-year-old Samantha Brigham was later identified as the victim in this tragic incident.
Brigham’s cousin, Megan Moser, stated that the victim left a birthday party at her apartment shortly before midnight to see her brother. She was crossing Nut Tree Road near Marshall Road when two vehicles struck her.
Both drivers remained at the scene and attempted to help Brigham while waiting for the arrival of emergency personnel. Investigators claimed that the drivers were not impaired at the time of the collision. It was also noted that the area did not have enough crosswalks and streetlights.
