Sam West Arrested in Fatal Vehicle Crash on Stratford Road [Moses Lake, WA]

Moses Lake, WA (June 8, 2024) On Friday morning, 20-year-old Sam West was arrested after a vehicle crash on Stratford Road that killed 1 and injured another.

According to the Moses Lake Police Department, the tragic crash happened at about 1 a.m. on N Stratford Road.

Officials say that West was driving a white Chevrolet Malibu that crashed into a Marshall’s building.

Reports say that a passenger, a 25-year-old Moses Lake resident, was found unresponsive at the scene and was rushed to a hospital, where they were ultimately pronounced dead at the hospital.

Moreover, another 20-year-old passenger suffered a major leg injury and was taken to a hospital as well.

Meanwhile, officials say that West had consumed marijuana before the crash, and authorities booked him to Grant County Jail for vehicular homicide and vehicular assault.
