Bicycle Accident in Bakersfield Kills 67-Year-Old Man

Bakersfield, CA (August 30, 2022) – On Sunday night, 67-year-old Salvador Covarrubias of Wasco died in a bicycle accident on Poplar Avenue.

The authorities who responded to the scene say it was about 8:20 p.m. when a vehicle struck the victim while riding his bicycle in the area of Filburn Avenue.

Unfortunately, Salvador Covarrubias succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

In the meantime, the officers did not provide further details as they are still investigating the fatal bicycle accident in Bakersfield.
