Salomon Rodriguez Fatally Struck by School Bus on Kettleman Lane [Lodi, CA]

30-Year-Old Bicyclist Killed in Accident near School Street

 
LODI, CA (August 17, 2018) – A man was killed Friday after he was struck by a school bus on Kettleman Lane. The California Highway Patrol identified the victim as 30-year-old Salomon Edgar Rodriguez.
 
According to reports from the Stockton Police Department, Rodriguez was riding his bicycle to work when he was struck by a school bus in the left turn lane of Kettleman Lane. Details on the events leading up to the collision were not immediately clear.
 
Emergency personnel arrived on the scene and transported Rodriguez to the San Joaquin General Hospital in critical condition. He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by medical staff at 2:00 PM.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the fatal collision at this time, and no additional information has been released to the public.
